Privacy at ScopeUp

ScopeUp (scopeup.ca) is operated by ScopeUp Inc., an Ontario corporation (corporation number 1001772844). ScopeUp Inc. is responsible for the personal information described on this page.

Questions, or requests to see, correct or delete your information: email support@scopeup.ca.

• Account: your email address, used to send one-time sign-in codes.
• Profile: your name, role, region and work preferences, and your licence number if you give it for verification. Licences are verified by a ScopeUp administrator.
• Shifts and jobs: the shifts, offers, bookings, messages and invoices you create, and job postings you submit. A posted shift is public; its shift-manager contact is shown only to the pharmacy and the booked pharmacist.
• AIMS (medication safety, for pharmacies): anonymous incident and near-miss reports, action plans, CQI meeting records, the pharmacy's staff list, and a history of changes. ScopeUp holds these on the pharmacy's behalf. AIMS is not yet open to pharmacies.
• Feedback, corrections and waitlists: what you submit, plus your email if you leave it so we can reply or tell you when a feature opens.

• Patient names, health card numbers, prescription numbers, dates of birth, case notes or medication histories. AIMS reports must be anonymous, and both the app and the database screen them for common patient identifiers.
• Patient profiles you import into a tool: reading a screenshot or PDF happens on your own device, and the result is not sent to ScopeUp.
• Claim data, adjudication responses or payment details. ScopeUp does not process payments or hold shift pay.

ScopeUp measures site usage without advertising trackers. A random identifier, kept in your browser only until you close the tab, records which pages were opened, for how long, and which tools were used, never what you typed into them. If you are signed in, ScopeUp also records which days your account was active.

ScopeUp also uses Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views and referring sites without cookies.

Some shift leads on the community board come from Ontario pharmacist WhatsApp groups. Phone numbers and email addresses are removed automatically before a lead is shown, and the board does not say which group it came from. If a lead you posted appears and you want it removed, email support@scopeup.ca.

ScopeUp's database is hosted in Canada (Central Canada region), and its server software runs in Montréal. Some service providers, such as the website's global network, analytics and email delivery, may process information outside Canada.

ScopeUp does not sell personal information. Information is shared only as the features describe (for example, booking details between a pharmacy and the pharmacist it booked) or when the law requires it.

ScopeUp Inc. will update this page, and the date on it, before ScopeUp collects new kinds of information or uses it in new ways.
