Nine new minor ailments pharmacists can prescribe for as of July 1, 2026
Effective July 1, 2026, Ontario pharmacists and interns can assess and prescribe for nine more minor ailments (calluses/corns, dandruff, dry eye, head lice, jock itch, mild headache, nasal congestion, ringworm, warts), bringing the program to 28 conditions. Update assessment workflows and remember the legal duty to notify the patient's primary care provider.
